Jennifer Jackson is the author of The Punkydoos Take the Stage, a children's book slated for publication in July 2014 from Disney Hyperion. The Punkydoos' second adventure will be coming 2016.
Jennifer's love of storytelling began in theater, where she wrote and directed original ensemble-based physical theater pieces. This led to work as a choreographer, creating character-driven movement for actors on both stage and screen. She won an NAACP award for her work with Cornerstone Theater Company. After bouncing from the Midwest to New York, she now lives in Los Angeles.
